Michael Madsen, Known for Tarantino Roles, Dies at 67

Actor Michael Madsen died on July 3, 2025, at the age of 67. Responders found him unresponsive at his Malibu home that morning, and he was later confirmed to have died from cardiac arrest. Authorities found no evidence of foul play.

For over four decades, Madsen brought powerful performances to the screen. With more than 300 credits, he was a familiar face in both blockbuster and indie films. Directors valued his ability to balance intensity with vulnerability, especially in his work with Quentin Tarantino.

Madsen had stayed creative until the end. He was filming three independent movies—Resurrection Road, Concessions, and Cookbook for Southern Housewives. He had also completed a book of poetry titled Tears For My Father: Outlaw Thoughts and Poems.
