Freedom Over Texas – July 4, Eleanor Tinsley Park
Houston’s signature Independence Day festival includes live music, food, family zones, and one of the biggest fireworks shows in the country. Tickets are around $10, and kids under 5 get in free. Or, catch the fireworks from nearby viewing spots like Allen Parkway.

Houston Symphony’s Star-Spangled Salute – July 4, Miller Outdoor Theatre
Enjoy patriotic music under the stars with a free concert from the Houston Symphony. Lawn seating is open to all, or reserve a covered seat online starting July 3.

Bayou Bend Fourth of July Festival – July 4, 1–5 PM
Held at MFAH’s Bayou Bend, this free event features crafts, historical reenactments, and performances in a beautiful garden setting. No tickets needed.

Bellaire Celebration of Independence – July 4, 9 AM–12 PM
Catch a festive parade followed by games, music, and fun on the Great Lawn in Bellaire. This free community event is perfect for families.
