A New York jury cleared Sean “Diddy” Combs of sex trafficking and racketeering, but convicted him on two federal counts under the Mann Act. Shortly after, Judge Subramanian ruled to deny his bail.

The two counts of transporting women for prostitution involve his ex-partners, Cassie Ventura and “Jane.” Each count carries up to 10 years in prison.

Prosecutors are expected to request 51–63 months, while the defense will argue for 21–27 months. No sentencing date has been set yet.

Combs knelt and prayed after the verdict on July 2. His lawyers sought a $1 million bond and travel restrictions. Prosecutors countered, and the judge agreed, citing flight risk and public safety. “This highlights a disregard for the rule of law and a propensity of violence,” Judge Subramanian said during his decision.
